Sayulita, Mexico Part 2, Anguilla Vacation Home Rentals

The second home, Anguilla Vacation Home Rentals, is close to the first home, right on the beach and closer to town.  The furnishings are nicely done and even include a piano!  The location is great and there’s an outdoor space, but the only downside here is that there is no pool.  If you plan to spend your time at the beach then this isn’t a problem, especially if you go in a cooler month like Nov. through May.
But, if you’re going in the summer it gets hot and you will probably miss the pool unless you’re a surfer or swimmer and can spend your time in the ocean.
A third home, El Palacio, is the most elaborate and expensive of the three, but still good value for the number of people it can sleep and the high quality of the new construction, views, decorative art and state-of-the-art kitchen.
If you don’t want to walk from the north end of town you can rent a golf cart which makes it much easier to part on the narrow streets.
There’s plenty to do in Sayulita and good food as well.  We enjoyed the food at several restaurants and our best dinner was at Tierra Viva.  We ate at two places right on the beach, Don Pedros and Captain Cook and at Calypso on the 2nd floor overlooking the square.  Good casual breakfasts and lunches are available right in town at El Espresso and Banana Beach Villa Rental.
Surfing lessons are very popular and horseback riding and shopping in town is fun.  One folk art shop that had a very good selection was La Hamaca, just off the square.
